The Welcome Desk Volunteer serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, creating a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment. This role handles front-desk operations, screens and assists clients with basic needs, provides information about available services, and directs individuals to the appropriate resources or staff. The volunteer upholds privacy and safety policies, supports smooth daily operations, and collaborates with team members to ensure a positive, welcoming experience for all clients.
